With all types of heater, the IPC can switch the heater on at the times you have requested and synchronise its operation with the other pieces of pool equipment (There may be an additional fee, depending on the equipment). The IPC will adjust the filter pump speed to provide sufficient water flow for that heater and manage the start-up and shutdown sequences, while minimising energy consumption at other times.

When switched on, the heater will run and the system will heat the pool water and drive to reach the target temperature. Please note that it may not achieve the target temperature due to many reasons, including heater size, pool cooling, weather, restricted times of operation and other factors. Each heater requires some ‘tuning’ to the owner’s desires and the circumstances.

Gas Heaters. Please set the target temperature on the front panel of the gas heater and always leave the heater switched-on, on its front panel. The IPC enables the heater’s operational times using a pre-set plan.

You may override the pre-set operating plan anytime, using the Pool App. Just select the Pool App on your smart phone and turn the heater ON. This will also run the filter as required.

Heat Pumps. As for gas heaters, please set the target temperature on the front panel of the heat pump and always leave the heat pump switched-on, on its front panel. The IPC will enable the heater in accordance with the pre-set plan.

You may override the pre-set plan anytime using the Pool App. Just select the Pool App and turn the heater ON. This will also run the filter as required.

Solar heaters with their own Solar Controllers. Please set the target temperature on the front panel of the solar controller and always leave the solar controller switched-on, on its front panel. The IPC will enable the solar controller power on and off in accordance with the pre-set plan.

You may override the pre-set plan anytime using the Pool App. Just select the Pool App and turn the solar heater ON. This will also run the filter as required.
